COVID-19 POLICIES AND PROTOCOLS

We are excited to be planning our return to the stage this fall with a fantastic season of in-person productions for your enjoyment.

Given the ongoing concerns with COVID-19, it is our duty to protect our patrons as well as our amazing team of volunteers. We align our safety protocols with recommendations made by the Virginia State and Fairfax County Departments of Health. To protect the health and safety of our volunteers, RCP is currently requiring proof of vaccination, health self-checks, and mask-wearing for all of our volunteer participants while indoors at our rehearsal hall and scene shop.

As our performance venue, CenterStage at Reston Community Center, is a Fairfax County facility, their COVID-19 policy is mandated by the Fairfax County Health Department. Currently, RCC requires audience members to wear masks at all times while inside their facility regardless of vaccination status. Everyone entering RCC buildings should complete a health self-check.  We remind our patrons while attending RCP productions this season, please remain socially distanced while approaching the theater doors and allow extra time to be seated.

These policies are similar to policies of other performing arts groups in the local region, and we strive to maintain the current recommendations as they change. We will notify you of any policy updates or changes as they occur to ensure your ongoing safety. Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and ongoing support of live theater.

We look forward to seeing you this coming season!
