Friendship, loyalty and love endure the harshest of tests as Proteus and Valentine take leave of one another to seek their fortunes and find true love, the former in native Verona and the latter in Milan. But Proteus eventually leaves his beloved Julia, travels to Milan and falls in love with Valentine’s Sylvia. Jealousy fuels treachery . . . but is redemption possible? Great comedic monologues and dialogues, disguised intentions and identities, and even a dog named Crab round out this multi-faceted offering from the Bard. Come see a contemporary twist on a timeless story!
