America’s sweethearts, George and Charlotte Hay, are stumbling through Buffalo, New York in 1953 as the stars of a sad repertory company. While their fate seems decidedly dark, there might be one last shot at Hollywood stardom! A traditional farce, written as only Mr. Ludwig (author of Lend Me a Tenor) can, adds to the mix a daughter, a fiancĂ©, a smarmy entertainment lawyer, a deaf mother-in-law, and (of course) a pregnant ingenue! Don’t forget the swashbuckling sword fights and some oddly delicious coffee, and your sides will be aching from the non-stop laughter!

Directed by Sue Pinkman. Produced by Lee Ann Hoffman.

Reservation information and directions to the Reston Community Center CenterStage theatre are available.

Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
