Six Tony awards! Nine Drama Desk awards! This unique musical is two shows in one, including swing jazz, sidesplitting comedy, and the romantic Hollywood music of the 1940s. The show chronicles the misadventures of a young novelist attempting to write a screenplay for a movie producer, a detective story of decadence and homicide—with a liberal sprinkling of femmes fatales— and best of all, two happy endings!
